T1 drops another one, his second single of the year and seems to pull off a DJ Khaled-type of track here. He defines it on the cover art as a musical experience on the cover. Tagging along is his second-time collaborator Chris James, self-proclaimed king of Trap Kidd Aktive and Mr Controversy Marcques.
Mclyne is yet to any wrong beat-wise (in my book) and this track's beat is testament of that. Chris James' hook here takes a while to get used to. You can hear tha Anonzi Xndr hashtag #NdinaBaeWako in the hook too. T1 opens the verses and does his bit.
One verse I wanted to hear was Marcques' because I had a feeling that he was going to throw some shade and my instinct was right (lol). he states that he's surpassed every artist that he used to listen to, there are NO KINGS and if you want to test him say his name and don't rap like a coward. Could this be a response to comments made about Who Got Next?. Pakaipa.
This track sounds more like a Rehab record that you would find on a Rehab album rather than a T1 project. Given his history of releases, from Tiri Two, Anochera Ngoda and Chaka Kala this comes off, not a new release, but as a pimped version of Chaka Kala, which begs the question, "Is there more that T1 has to say or this is it?". I hope that's not the case, I enjoyed the varied subject content of his previous single releases.
All in all it's a dope track but I'm I think it overshadows Chaka Kala like what the iPhone Plus 6 did to the iPhone 6.
I assume "Inzwa" is dropping sooner than later
