"Return from Sinai" ft Born Allahu 7, the last single off the "Chosen Prophecy" album Produced by The Future, sampling vocals from Nas' 1999 hit "Hate me now".
The term “Return from Sinai” is a metaphor taken from the biblical context of Moses' return from Mt. Sinai, aftre being given the ten commandments. Here it stands for individual growth upon his symbolic return from an internal journey of self reflection/meditation. This growth is primarily spiritual and is manifested outwardly through his thoughts and actions, including the music he makes.
The song is meant to serve as an elaboration of the main thematic concept of the album Chosen Prophecy describing the transformation of the artist into a higher level of consciousness, through the experiences and situations covered by the songs on the album.
The “Transformation” expressed is evident in the lyrical content as well as the sonic texture of the album through the instrumentals which that have tried to give an evolutionary sound that captures the internal progressions mirrored in the lyrics. So musically, the album is meant to sound as progressive as the lyrics, to create a “next level” sound for the “next level” lyrics.
Chosen Prophecy: Return from Sinai drops 9 October 2015 on iTunes and all other digital media outlets.
