VI The Law had a great week last week. After dropping his Panda version (Fanta) he also graduated with a Psychology degree from Africa University and also received an award for being the Best Male Student in Psychology.


VI The Law had a great week last week. After dropping his Panda version (Fanta) he also graduated with a Psychology degree from Africa University and also received an award for being the Best Male Student in Psychology.

Long gone are the days when rappers were dropouts, now we're dropping degrees on 'em. *pun intended*

Days leading to Grad...well when I got my results..I didnt really understand the significance of graduation. I looked at it from the selfish point of view of just " Im happy to be done with the courses" coz the last semester was more than hectic. I even reached a point around March where I honestly believed I wasnt gonna graduate..too much was going on. So I have a goal setting app and I just typed in "I will graduate from Africa University in June 2016" I didnt know how...but I let God do the driving. Fast foward to yesterday it happened and on top of that I got an award. Someone once said to me sarcastically "All you do is music, hauna focus"...One of the biggest lessons I learnt was it was never either psychology or music...for me it was both...When I got a clear understanding of what I want out of life it was easy to give both adequate attention. I released 3 songs this last semester...And was honing my craft..whilst also going for lectures..balancing out research project..and of course it got hectic sometimes..thats life bro....I learnt how to move in a room full of "No's". I feel like people make too many excuses about not fuffiling the greatness that resides inside...I can sum it up in 3 words Faith, Conviction and Purpose. As I part ways with Africa University..I'd like to take time to appreciate everyone who contributed to my growth on Campus...all my my classmates..lecturers etc..It was a special journey...Which allowed me to do many cool things ..performing, being an MC, even a lil modeling in first year haha...through the good times and the bad I will hold that place at heart..To all my fellow graduates I wish you all a TRULY AMAZING Future...filled with joy, happiness and greatness. To everyone still on the journey I pray God grants you strength to overcome any obstacles in your way. I also sincerely hope I inspired some people to live on ther truth and be as great and courageous as possible. Much Love - G6
