We're off to a great start as people are dropping their material early (as compared to other years). Tiara returns with her second single We Do (Black Bottles 25/8), featuring Sago and produced by Youngnash.
The 23 year-old Zimbabwean Female Hip-Hop artist who is currently based in South Africa follows up her breakout single Ndavapedzera with We Do. An interesting name here is Sago (which I think is a new moniker for MC CUT since his surname is SAGOmba).
She got nominated for Best Female at the 2016 Zim Hip-Hop Awards for her efforts in the hip hop genre. For those not in the know black bottles are some of the most expensive bottles in the club (think Luc Belaire or the more expensive Armand de Brignac Blanc de Blancs Champagne). The 25/8 stands for 25 hours a day, 8 days a week which is code for working overtime.
The song basically describes the lifestyle she lives and also the one she is pursuing in the near future. The hook takes some getting used to as Tiara is yet to hone her singing skills. The track is alright but I wouldn't know about it being game-changing, She has a winning team with her and hopefully that will be shown on her forthcoming debut album whose title is yet to be publicized.
As Tiara is known for dropping visuals we should be expecting some for these soon.
Is anyone else working as hard as her?
