South African-based Zim Hip-Hop rapper Indigo Saint has spoken to us about about his newly unveiled collaborative mixtape with fellow artist Kamzthxpxpe.
In the interview the Blunt EP rapper explained the concept of sound and the title.
On this mixtape we tried to do something different, not from someone else, but from what we've done.Hook'nay Mukoosha is slang for rural chicken. It's a wild thing I know, but the reason behind that title is because it took us forty or so minutes to create all the hooks on the mixtape and it happened so naturally, hence Hook'nay Mukoosha.
The mixtape available for free stream and download contains seven tracks and two skits recorded during the process of creation. The two spits some unfiltered stream of consciousness rhymes over rare instrumentals and it definitely sounds like they had fun, a lot of it, while recording it especially with tittles like Jah Praise Her and Pullo.
It's not the first time the two rappers have teamed up.They have worked together on a number of times in the past on songs like uNcub'othungayo, All Day and Bulawayo and from that you can tell the two have always had a chemistry that mixes well on wax.
Here is the tracklist.
1. Hooknay (intro)
3. Dashing Vodka
4. YWRIWR (You Was Right I Was Wrong)
5. Die For A Nigger
7. Jah Praise Her
9. Mukoosha (Outro
