Right now that we've got that out of the way, many may deem him to be a Bulawayo MC so why the "Norton" reference?
Well, he was born in Norton then he relocated to Bulawayo, but still reps where he was born. Understood? Good. This is a rather short mixtape, having a duration of 36 minutes.
Listening to the mixtape is like an introduction into the world of Gimel where he feels like the president ("BOB Freestyle") and dares you to do anything about it ("Chanditei"). He also shows love to the female form ("Zunza", "Zvazvinhu"). Not just ending on the female form, he also talks about a significant other ("Mrs. Gunyana"). Another female of note on this mixtape is his grandma ("Mbuya Moira") who raised him and will be eternally indebted to. Haters (like the norm in other Hip-Hop projects) are not spared here ("Iwe", "Trust Nobody"). Cal_Vin even drops in to show some love (no homo lol)
Managed by Music Beyond Borders boss Godfrey Mungeni, who also manages Mile, Gimel looks like he set to go places.
