After a lot of pushing back, countless tracklists and numerous amounts of singles we now have a Tehn Diamond solo debut album. No, it's the renamed Perfect Tehn, that will come in it's own time.
The streaming link surfaced roughly 14hrs ago (and apparently will only be available for 24hrs). a few good poems has finally seen the light of day as a debut album and is actually a soild piece of work.
According to the 3-Mob article, it will be available for purchase via EcoCash and also online as Tehn's first full-length release under the new management company A1 Media, responsible for managing African Hip-Hop heavyweights like Sarkodie.
The features on here immediately leap out, the biggest being the Ghanaian rapper M.anifest, Ammara Brown, Heavy Machine hitmaker Bryan K, Shingi Mangoma and Simba Tagz. One person who is so prominent throughout the whole album that she couldn't be called a feature is Amai Tendai (Tehn's mother or as she is known by Tehn's SOTG family, Mama Tehn).
Initially released as one of the singles off this album, 2062 missed the final cut. Daijes In The Sky finally get a home and the cult anthem Be Amazing gets new life as The Amazing.
I enjoyed this album, more than I thought I would, actually. This new sonic direction Tehn has taken really makes sense after listening to it as a full product. If the plan was to take on Africa with album I'm sure that that plan is being fulfilled. Hopefully, some accompanying visuals will bless our eyes in the near future. I nominate The Amazing, Over It All, Daijes In The Sky and Lead The Way for visuals.
